A date for the diary.
The next Quiz Night has been pencilled in for Friday 17th January in the clubhouse at 8.00 pm.
I'm hoping we can improve on the turnout from the last quiz and have another good evening.
More details to follow early in the New Year.

Re: Ashford Town (H)
I may be in a minority but I thought the referee was actually pretty good. Admittedly he should have booked an Ashford player for pulling Kaylen Hinds back in front of the main stand but otherwise I thought he kept on top of the game and got the majority of the decisions correct. I couldn't care les...

Re: Ex-Players
The enigmatic yet eternally popular Hassan Jalloh scored this afternoon on debut for Northwood.

Re: Hanworth Villa (A)
Spoke to Kaylen Hinds after he came off and he said he had a back injury but seemed confident he would be fine by the weekend. I thought the new left back did fairly well in what was a pretty dire team performance. To have taken just one point from four games against Hanworth and Ascot does not bode...

Re: Leatherhead (H)
I never saw the match due to work commitments (don't mention the last 2 Tuesdays when I was free and matches were postponed). It sounds as though it was a decent point considering the conditions. Surely it doesn't take a coaching genius to recognise that Keano Robinson is most effective in one of th...

Re: Ascot United (A)
First let me get the grumbles out of the way. The ground at Ascot is a joke. KIds running all over the place, hardly any room behind either goal, floodlights so poor that it was impossible to see the ball when it was launched forward. It feels like watching a game at a sports centre with a creche at...

Re: Moneyfields (A)
The second half reminded me very much of the Horndean away game. There is very little vocal encouragement from the bench. Even Delroy looks like he has lost interest. My concern is that the supporters are also losing interest to some extent. We had a healthy following at the game but many of our fan...

Re: Mark Molesley
Molesley is essentially a manager who wants to believe he has an elite coaching method which makes players better. In reality he is an expert in over-complicating the simplest of tasks, demanding an unrealistic level from part-time players and has almost become a parody of himself since a promising ...

Re: Kingstonian (H)
A pretty fair assessment to be honest. Let me add my two-penneth. Jordon Ibe had a gilt-edged chance at 1-1 which he poked wide of the post and Clifton was unlucky to see his shot saved just before their winner. Aside from that (and perhaps an early chance for Hercules) I don't really remember us lo...
