Two games in hand, 1 point from 6 picked up.
Not one for doom and gloom as usually try and remain positive but I’ve seen nothing to unfortunately except Raynes Park Vale and Southall, to be positive about this season. I do not think we will go up if we keep conceding 2 goals a game. I think questions have to be asked about what’s going on. No style, just hit and hope

For sure, those games in hand ran out quickly. Listened to the commentary last night and the commentators both seemed very miffed by the first three subs, especially Hinds. Hercules was injured as far as I could make out?

Cole Brown leaving was a big kick in the guts. Still can't understand how a player of that quality cannot get a game at Step 4. Was the new guy any good last night (Bangura, I think?)?

Absolutely agree that questions have to be asked. Nearly half a season gone but hard to see where the consistency is coming from.

Spoke to Kaylen Hinds after he came off and he said he had a back injury but seemed confident he would be fine by the weekend.

I thought the new left back did fairly well in what was a pretty dire team performance. To have taken just one point from four games against Hanworth and Ascot does not bode well for the campaign as a whole. Andy and Simon seem unable to convince many of our supporters that they are the right combination to take the club forward. Indeed it is noticeable in recent weeks that our fans are dwindling a little in both numbers and interest. The game was so flat last night and there was a depressing inevitability once the home team had scored within 5 minutes.

We have recognised right back at the club since Cole Brown departed. Wraynel did his best last night but went off injured. Playing him as a right back is a waste of his ability. We have only one holding midfielder in the shape of Adam Martin. We have several players who do not really seem to have a set position (Alves, Hinds, Hippolyte, Rocky) and those not getting regular football look way off the pace when they are given some game time.

We have Will Salmon on the bench last night (possibly injured) yet Shawn Joseph was nowhere to be seen. Gabby has seemingly been discarded despite some decent performances while Hani is probably not good enough for this level. I cannot understand why bringing Amos Nasha back to the club has not been investigated (maybe it has) unless he is another that is not rated by the management.

I do not see a lack of effort but neither do I see a recognisable pattern of play. I'm not really sure what it is that we are trying to achieve during some of these matches. Ashford Town have no playing budget but you can be sure they will run around and be committed on Saturday. We have to get at least 7 points from the next 3 games to keep in touch with the play offs but nobody who was at the game last night could think that this is a likely outcome.
