Could be wrong in the maths here but after last night's 0-0 between Hanworth and Ascot I believe the situation is:
Assuming the worst case, IE all play off place rivals win all their games. Essentially this boils down to ensuring we finish above at least 2 of Ascot, Kingstonian and Moneyfields who are said rivals realistically,
If Hayes win all 3, they enter the play offs. 100%. No team below can overtake in that scenario, and as Ascot and Kingstonian play each other on the final day at least one of them them must drop points to allow Hayes in. This is the 'easiest' way in.
With a win and a draw this weekend, Hayes would know the scoreline they need on the final day to finish ahead of Ascot or Kingstonian (or both, but that can only happen if they draw with each other). If there was a winner in the Ascot v Kingstonian game, it would be a goal difference race between Hayes and Moneyfields for the final spot.
Any defeat allows Leatherhead into the picture and places reliance on other teams dropping points in their other games, which cannot be afforded much less guaranteed (although they do have some tough games against in form / battling sides).
Bottom line, a thumping of Badshot Lea would really help.

Re: Playoff Picture
All very exciting for the neutral this, I'm sure.
I know some may disagree, but I'm of the mind that last night's result was the best possible outcome for us. Keeps both Ascot and Hanworth in touching distance. Hanworth have to play Uxbridge on Saturday which is MASSIVE.
Moneyfields also play Raynes Park Vale on Saturday, and the former are only 2pts behind us of course. Hopefully they can take points off of each other or RPV win at least. Eases the pressure from the chasing pack slightly.
Leatherhead have Hartley away on the final day. Although HW are out of it, they may well be in a position to take points off of Leatherhead, which could prove useful. And, as stated, Ascot take on Kingstonian. I do believe we will overhaul K's as they are self-imploding both on and off the pitch at the moment. That could be very good news for us. They also have to go to Guernsey who are experiencing somewhat of a renaissance right now and only 3pts from safety.
Ultimately, as you've said Scott, the ideal situation for us is to win all our remaining three games. It's not a bad run in so the team just needs to stay professional, and it's one game at a time. Here's hoping we're in the mix come Weds 30th. If we are, then it's a lottery.

Thanks for bringing a bit of clarity to a murky picture.
It's good to know our destiny is in our own hands. Just win the next three and playoffs here we come!

Looks like I've timed a visit perfectly for my first H&Y game in 3 years! Looking forward to the match tomorrow, will be bringing VL jnr along to experience some real football before we head back a summer of Canadian soccer...
Re: Playoff Picture
Well, everybody in the top 6 keeping each other honest!
Final day remains win and in. Leatherhead now mathematically eliminated (they had pretty much zero hope, but now they are done) and Moneyfields have slipped up so they are also now eliminated.
Any Hayes WIN and they are IN as Ascot v Kingstonian means at least one of them must drop at least 2 points.
A DRAW is enough IF:
Ascot v Kingstonian DOES NOT end in a draw. We would go above Kingstonian on points, or above Ascot on goal difference - if either lose and we draw.
OR
If Hanworth Villa lose their match
A DEFEAT can still be enough if Ascot absolutely thrash Kingstonian.
Worth keeping on an eye on the 2 divisions above too.
National League South: Any of 6 teams can still win it, and 3 teams fighting to avoid 1 relegation spot.
Southern Premier South, almost any combination of 2 from 7 could go down. Looking at fixtures it can't be Chertsey and Poole as they play each other so one of them must end up safe. Chertsey win or draw is enough for Chertsey, and a Poole win is enough for Poole. Other than that, it really can be any combination that come down.
5 days to go...
Oh, and the Isthimian Premier, where Billericay (with Moses) are fighting a 3 way battle for the title. Billericay and Horsham could yet end up tied on points, goal difference, goals scored and head to head. If say Horsham win 3-1 and Billericay win 1-0 next week, Horsham would win the league by virtue of games won. I'm not sure an English league (or any other league) of 46 games has ever come down to that.

Re: Playoff Picture
Excellent, thanks for confirming what's needed on the final day.
A dominant performance against Harrow I thought with fluent forward movement and a strong desire to win the ball back when we lost it. Not to forget a great save from Juliusz to avoid things getting too worrying at the end after he'd had little to do all match. Maybe Amos my MotM though there were lots of contenders. Or maybe Wraynel. Anyway...
A home crowd of almost 400 and I suspect the footballing equivalent of Ofsted were in, so, a buzzing and very "secure" atmosphere! Well done to all those who promoted the game heavily and facilitated the special deals on entrance. Now, how to get most of those people back at the start of next season.
Onwards! to face Uxbridge, or Hanworth, or Ascot, or Kingstonian.
