Late goal real kick in the teeth last night. A point would have been a bonus but sadly it wasn’t to be.
Blistering start 2 up keano header at the back post and snap shot from Sippetts from just inside the area off the far post.
But always up against it, fair play to Farnham, league all but wrapped up but just kept probing constantly throughout the half. Overloads in wide areas and eventually found the break through.
Second looked reasonably comfortable until the Kaylen Hinds dismissal for 2 bookable offences. Can’t really argue with either one in fairness. Jose Sani, George Sippetts and Jude Mason all replaced with niggles. Just the relentless pressure we finally gave way deep into stoppage time. Set piece powered home at the back post.
By far the best side in the division, depth from their bench is frightening.
Only disappointing thing was 2 up and I’m not sure if Farnham quality hemmed us in or we started to protect the 2 goal lead, then just sat back and tried to defend till half time.
Mom Juliusz Pazio made 2 good saves at 2-2.
Bigger game on Saturday, with teams around us plying each other could be to our advantage if we deliver 3 points.
Fingers crossed no injuries from last night impact the starting 11 for Saturday.
