Just hoping I don't meet a queue of traffic leaving the ground as I approach at 2.50pm!

Great win, some lovely goals. Missed a good one for once. Starting to not becoming a chore watching hayes anymore.

Yes, a thoroughly enjoyable match with some parallels of our last time at this level where things started to come together in the second half of the first season.
We controlled the midfield and even when we lost the ball always looked strong enough to win it back. Lots of exciting attacking options and players seemed to gel and know where each other were, rather than the slow build-up we saw earlier in the season. There was always a chance Moneyfields could hit us on the break but they made far fewer chances than H&Y.
I think refs do their best and these things even out in the end, but the penalty and disallowed goal still look puzzling to me watching the highlights back.
Farnham currently underwater and even though there's not much rain forecast between now and Tuesday's morning's pitch inspection it looks highly unlikely to go ahead on a pitch not famed for its quick drainage. Looking at the fixture list we still have a few free midweek slots so hopefully end-of-season fixture chaos can still be avoided.
