Harrow Borough (A)

Post by Red army »

Points shared was a fair result.

Probably edged the first half some good defending from the home side throwing themselves in front of goal bound efforts. Hippolyte a threat in behind with his pace but never really looked comfortable in front of goal. Wranyel again decent game but lack of real quality in the final third.
Set pieces pretty damn average in fairness needs improvement.
Harrow rattled the bar and sent an effort over from 12yds out when salmon slipped when trying to clear. Looked fairly comfortable for most parts of the first half.

2nd half was real struggle, from kick off 2 passes back at the keeper and set the tone for our display. Really struggled to get to grips with the home side for 25/30 mins created few chances and some good keeping and poor finishing kept the score goalless. First time this season we’ve made substitutes and they have made a positive impact on the game.change of formation Adrian Clifton, Sippetts and Amos Nasha influenced the game and we could have nicked all 3 points late on. Adrian Clifton shot brought out a decent save from the keeper, faintest of touches helping the ball wide of the far post. One two between Adrian Clifton and Bangura but keeper off his line in a flash to smother. Bangura free kick tipped over the bar.

Mom Keano Robinson cleared most things chucked his way looked more comfortable in 2 man pairing.

Few missing Jude Mason James Richmond kaylen Hinds arguably starting 11 players.

Thought Ricky struggled on the right looked lethargic at times but think he probably more suited to a role more central behind the front men. Definitely got the ability to play a forward pass where the majority go sideways and backwards. Good to Amos Nasha back for 15 minutes and calm on the ball picked a decent pass to keep us in possession competed for everything so a big plus point for me . Definitely think it’s the weakest part of our team.

Pretty much agree with all you have said there Red army.

Was a much better performance than at Met Police and first half we had chances. Just, at times, needed someone to put their foot through the ball in and around the box.

Robinson played well and looks much better at centre-half. His range of passing is superb for a defender too. Rarely lost a battle today and reads the game well.

I was very critical of Pazio against Met Police, but I thought he was superb today too and pushing for MOTM. Would've been between him and Robinson for me. Without Pazio, it could've been a lot worse 2nd half after Harrow came flying out of the blocks at HT. Made a handful of very good saves over the 90.

Good to see Nasha back and that'll hopefully add a bit in the middle of the park. I also think Comley will prove a good signing too.
