Jon "Skippy" Brady has resigned as manager at Northampton Town. What a player he was in his days at Church Road!

Ah yes, not sure if it's rose tinted glasses looking back but Jon Brady as one wing-back and Lee Flynn as the other, great times with great football. Both able to defend, as well as terrorise the opponents driving forward, wide, with the ball.
The only problem is that he's frozen in my mind with those blonde floppy locks as a youngster and, seeing the current coverage, time has led us all to "mature".
Good luck to Jon in his next role!

Lee Flynn’s free kick, one of the best I’ve seen live. Mansfield Town away 1st round of the fa cup 98/99 season.
Was in the bbc fa cup montage before televised games but not sure how long it lasted??
