Another away win. Never in any danger of losing this. As soon as the first goal went in, we looked comfortable throughout. I’m starting to enjoy watching Hayes again.
Good positive start. Moving the ball comfortably across the pitch and pressing high when Southall tried to play out from the back.
Probing but nothing really clear cut chance wide for the away side.
First goal of the game and what a screamer it was, long ball into the right channel, Southall keeper came of his line to deal with it but the central defender decided to deal with it himself, weak header found its way to Kaylen Hinds 30 yards from goal, no hesitation in thundering his dipping first time volley beyond the stranded keeper into the far corner. Southall player picking up a lose pass in midfield driving in from the Hayes right, skipping a few challenges and finally hitting low shot to Juliusz Pazio left, but turned away with a firm hand. Only real chance from the home side. Hayes dominant probing through quick passing and the odd diagonal. Second goal came courtesy of some good play in midfield, Kaylen Hinds through the centre of the pitch, driving towards the edge of the box, slips pass to his left into the path of Jonathan Hippolyte, two touches bearing down on the keeper no mistake side footed finish into the far corner. Free kick from the right chested down to his right by Adrian Clifton snap shot just over. Wranyel Hercules header just over. Southall struggling to deal with movement of the from 3/4 players. Jude mason ball down the left flank sets Jonathan Hippolyte free knicks round the on rushing Southall keeper foul given yellow card. Resulting free kick taken by Cole Brown, his in swinging free kick from the left evades every one and nestles in the far corner. 3 goals in 14 first half minutes left southall reeling.
2nd half took a little while to get going. Hayes sloppy in possession and hitting some aimless long balls. Southall going a little more direct. Real chance for Southall to pull one back,Shawn Joseph muscles of the ball in the right full back position, forward advancing into the box low shot parried by Juliusz in the away goal, help out by Jude Mason yards from goal, his clearance fell to the edge of the box, first time shot heading towards goal but tipped over by the recovering five of Juliusz Pazio. Southall retained the ball better midway through the half but never really had the know how to break down an excellent Hayes shape in the defensive third. The later the half went on the more Hayes looked dangerous better ball in the final third could have made for a high score. Final nail in the coffin came by the way of another short corner routine, Berchiche corner on the Hayes left, rolled into rocky Williams at the near post, his pass back to Berchiche drilled across the box evading the forward five of the keeper, that man Clifton ghosting in at the far post makes it 4. Hayes could have had five but the Lino’s flag brought an abrupt end to the celebrations. Really good goal though, switch of play into Rocky Williams on the left, his give and go with Berchiche sends him clear pulled back to Clifton rolls his man fires home. Ft 0-4
Mom once again could be anybody, Kaylen Hinds volley all ready a contender for goal of the season, his assist for the second gives him the edge.
Really good performance again work ethic to get the ball back when given away is pleasing to see. Squad looks healthy no Perrie Landolo today and still yet to see James Richmond yet to make an appearance.
Be interesting to see how we shape up without Adrian Clifton over the coming games after his harsh sending off on Saturday, his awareness and ability to hold the ball up and bring the wingers into play will be a loss.

Re: Southall (H)
Thanks for the report Red army. A great win indeed and even nicer over local rivals. Sounds like we controlled the game from start to finish.
Clifton will be a big miss when he serves his suspension. Funny you mention James Richmond too and I've been wondering about him for a few weeks now. Didn't play any pre-season friendlies that I know of and hasn't been in the squad for the league games. I assume he's at the club? Hopefully Iandolo is not injured for too long - I like him. Looks like he could be a really good signing.
Hopefully we can get past Margate on Saturday and bank some more prize money for the club into the bargain. Some interesting results in the league yesterday and hopefully we can keep this form going. I think the last time we won 4 on the spin was Jan / Feb? It's a joy to support H&Y at the moment.
PS: Was following on a mixture of the club Twitter account and FWP yesterday. Great coverage for those of us who can't be there!

Re: Southall (H)
My first game of the season and a massive difference from last year. Some great goals some battling performances from players who want to play for Hayes. A goalkeeper who can kick straight and when called upon making a great save. The management fully involved on the side and subs desperate to get on.
It is early in the season but things are looking good so far and winning all games played away bodes well. Let’s hope we have a home game soon.
