24/25 Squad

Post by PSG55 »

Great news to hear Cole Brown is staying at the club. He's one I'm pretty sure wouldn't have been short of offers to move higher up this summer so it's a big statement for the club that he remains with us.

Perri Iandolo too who was with Maidstone and Totton last season. Haven't seen a huge amount of him but I do remember him coming on for Maidstone at Ipswich last season in the FA Cup. Sounds like a Scott Donnelly-type player with a good passing range and someone who'll put his foot on the ball in the middle of the park.

A very promising start and looking forward to seeing who is next.

Not sure if Jacob Adams has left us or not but I did see he played in goal for Wealdstone in the 2nd half of their friendly with Walton & Hersham yesterday.

Yes, a promising start to building the new squad. Hopefully some more names will emerge after tomorrow's friendly.

As we saw last time at this level, it's often a case of waiting for the dust to settle. We can start the season with as strong a squad as possible but there are often diamonds out there to be had once it becomes clearer who those above us are holding on to and who's being let go.

You were right Mr Heinstein... ;)

Jonathan Hippolyte and James Richmond in from Enfield Town.

As we learned from our last sojourn to Step 4, you need to have at least one very prolific striker if you're going to win promotion. I don't know much about Hippolyte but he does seem to score a few goals. James Richmond an experienced centre-half.

Against Shefford, quite a stable set of trialists with just Q, R and S appearing for the first time and C, H, L, M and P making way from the previous game against Potters Bar.

F has had his cover blown as Jonathan Hippolyte.

I'm looking forward to Saturday and the visit of Hampton & Richmond on the grass. Must get that season ticket ordered to save a fiver...
