Really really poor first half. 1-0 down in 6 minutes another mistake cost us, concede early goals which give us a massive uphill task when we don’t create to many clear cut chances in a game. Could have easily been all over by half time if they would have taken their chances.
Credit to the team though, better team second half and was on the front foot for the majority of the 2nd half. Ayo through on goal and passes across the box with only the keeper to beat, sums us up in front of goal this season!!. Gosport well organised with pace and power up front caused us problems all game.
Mom Ayo pace a constant threat if only he was a more natural finisher.
Onto Plymouth Saturday, I hope we get on the front foot early in this game, beat us comfortably at home not long back, admittedly with a very weak midfield that night. Plymouth playing Thursday night versus Merthyr, so definitely need to see what their recovery levels are like on Saturday. Win on the road would be most welcome in our current predicament.
