Disappointing to drop two points in this one. From Twitter it doesn’t sound like it was a classic by any means but that’s a game we need to be winning.

Is it an overreaction to say we’re in big trouble?

I think it's one win in the last 13 league games. Probably not an over-reaction to say that puts us in trouble and certainly in the relegation zone.

So, what's the answer? If I knew I'd let Dev know and we'd be climbing the table. Are the players not good enough or are we just not getting the best out of them? Injuries haven't helped but I'm sure other clubs have them too.

To my eyes we never look much worse than the best teams and never much better than the worst teams. A goal difference of -2 may bear that out.

Three home games coming up with Bracknell on Tuesday and they lost to bottom-of-the table Didcot today, then Didcot themselves, then Plymouth who only have a point more than us, then away at a Harrow in worse form than us. They're all winnable.

So yes I'd say we're in trouble. The next four games may see us get out of it...

Totally drab affair this one. Fair result I’d say where neither team really did enough to win. Very lucky goal for us after kinsella free kick rattled the bar and went in off the back of the diving keeper. There goal also element of fortune taking a big deflection past Jacob after a poor clearance to the edge of the box. And that sums up all that happened in the game. Pitch is probably the worst in the league but it’s always been the case at Tiverton.

Think we seriously have to look at our performances in the games since New Year’s Day. We have created very little going forward in all of these games. Can only think of a handful of chances in all those games put together. Hendon flattered us second half the only shot we had 2nd half went from Gambin. Walton was similar, Fernandes shot saved by the keeper the only real attempt on target.
Middlesex cup game was the same by far the better side but huffed and puffed throughout.
Tiverton game never had a shot on target of any real note.

Bottom line, if we don’t start creating and converting chances we’re going to get relegated without putting up much of a fight. Can’t rely on winning 1-0 every game, defence is under constant pressure for many of the games we play, it’s no hard luck story that we are conceding late or sloppy goals. It’s looks like there coming at any point through the game.
Tiverton game we had throw ins around the opposition 18yd box where on every occasion, we had 2 men moving for the ball and no one else within 20yds of the thrower. Players also partly to blame on a pitch that a farmer wouldn’t plant his potatoes, we decided to try and dribble through players in the centre of the pitch, which failed time and again. The only real option, get the ball wide where the surface wasn’t as bad. Cole Brown our only real danger throughout the game and easily our MoM.
Hard to beat make it difficult away from home, we have to be more on the front foot at home, especially against the teams we are fighting against to stay in the division.
Managers record not looking great at present and I’m fearful of the drop this season.
Draws are no good this month, we have to start taking 3 points from Didcot (h), Plymouth Parkway (h) and Harrow (a). Tough ask but at least it will give us a fighting chance.

U hayesssss
