Sadly your thoughts were not shared by all of our squad as we could only muster two subs.

No criticism of any of the players who made the effort to be in Devon last night but plenty of others who might need to look in the mirror.

I think Andy Leese's post-match interview was pretty telling. He was up front in saying some players had lost the will between the weekend and last night. For me, that is absolutely shocking and cannot be tolerated. Said players should be released and never play for the club again (if they're still with us indeed).

And, I don't know if I inferred correctly or not, but it sounds like this has pretty much been going on most of the season?

Quite simply, Saturday is now a must-win. Nothing else will do. We then have to hope for other results to go for us. It ain't over until the fat lady sings but it's clear a thorough review of the playing squad has to happen in the summer no matter which division we find ourselves in.

Does anyone know how long Andy Leese is contracted for? If we go down, will he stay with us or is it all change again?

Not over yet but looking more and more unlikely. Poor showing from the club to only field 2 subs in the biggest game of our season. Seems the fans cared more for this game? Was trying to give the players the benefit of the doubt but I think the managers interview sums up the poor turnout.
13 that turned up gave it everything but sadly not good enough on the day, it’s not this one result that will send us down, we’ve been on this course from early in the season. Just looking at performance's early in the season, Sholing(A) stands out for me one of the worse performances in terms of attitude and commitment even arrogance. Worse performance I’ve seen in 4/5 years.

Started really well, first 20mins first to the ball in midfield, Sami Odelusi and Luke Gambin bossed the midfield. Early chance for Wabo slipped in by Gambin, only keeper to beat lobbed over the advancing keeper only to hit the bar and headed over the rebound under pressure. Max hogan at right wing back, pass into Ayo bearing down on goal, angle tight drags it wide off the far post. Deservedly took the lead, free kick fired into the box, chested down by Marvel and rifled into the far corner. Sadly the lead didn’t last long, free kick given just outside the box, very good free kick over the ball and nestled in the corner with Jacob rooted to the spot. From that point there was only ever one winner, defended really well under pressure till half time, set pieces delivered with pace and accuracy dealt with by the defence and fine save from Jacob at his near post.

Second half started with Plymouth dominate and their goal came 5mins after the restart. Plymouth midfielder picked the ball in his own half, and then ran unchallenged virtuall across the pitch and slid in the forward who finished easily past Jacob. Had the odd chance on the counter but never really looked threatening, Marvel foray forward into the box, his cross deflected into the path of Mo Bettamer who blasted wide. Ayo cutting inside his curling effort headed over his own bar by a defender. The final nail in the coffin came with 10 mins left.

Mom Luke Gambin got through a shift in midfield always trying to get the team moving forward, him and Sami being overrun in midfield the later the game went on.

Same story as most games this season, we’re ok but just lacking in the final third. Have rare chances but never enough pressure to force mistakes or luck of the bounce.

U ayessssssssssss ( see who turns up for the game Saturday)
