Yes, if another club comes along offering wages well above what we can afford and the player wants to leave for the extra dosh then all we can do is wish them well. I'd hope the manager has enough of a budget to retain players to put us in with a shout of promotion, but there will be times that's just not enough.

Ben Purcell did well for us, I think we have a lot of talent in his area of the pitch so while I'd have preferred him to stay I expect others will step up to fill the gap.

Changing topic, does anyone have any news regarding Joe Gater's return from injury? Having him back would really help defensively .
