Unbeaten away run continues but left this one late. I thought we deserved a point especially from 2 down. One positive for me was the mindset from 2 down to steal a point at the death, I wasn’t sure this group of players had that in there locker but last night proved otherwise.

Open first half both teams dangerous when playing wide especially on the left wing for both sides. First effort at goal came from the hosts, left winger cutting inside with the defender back pedalling into the area, his shot into the side netting. Hayes then this time Hippolyte onto a long ball, control and poke with the right foot past the advancing keeper, ball could have landed to either Hippolyte or Clifton but bounced back of the post between into the arms of the Uxbridge keeper. Again Uxbridge on the left wing crossed to the near post, diving header straight into the mid drift of Juliusz Pazio in the away goal. Herson Alves shot crowded out on the edge of the box. Jordan Ibe cross from the right first time, falls invitingly to Kaylen Hinds, control then twist and turn for a shot but over the top. Uxbridge always looking to get forward shot whistles wide of the far post. Eventually the goal, a cross from the right found Moore his glancing header to the keepers right. Uxbridge with their tales up, free kick on the edge of the box after Jordan Ibe handball. Fired over the wall and palmed away by Juliusz Pazio, rebound fired high and wide. Ht 1-0

Second half couldn’t have started any worse for us, on the back foot from the beginning. Juliusz Pazio denies Decado with a smart save. Then George Moore again onto a loose ball, once again defenders back tracking, Moore cuts inside fires high into the roof of the net. Gradually started to settle and work our way into the game, Uxbridge happy to defend deep and attack on the counter attack. Never really troubled the home keeper, Herson Alves few shots from distance but off target, Jordan Ibe and Kaylen Hinds working the right back, few crosses from the byline lacking real quality, few panicked clearances from the Uxbridge rear guard. Hippolyte beat the offside trap and into the area took the option to cross instead of shoot, got a lucky deflection past the keeper to give us some hope. Not many chances for the remainder of the game, home side hitting the side netting and firing over. Running the clock down at every opportunity, Juliusz Pazio up for corners towards the end and Uxbridge defending stoutly.
Then a long ball from the back, the Uxbridge centre half could only divert his attempted clearance in to the path of George Sippetts, headed into his own path just inside the area under pressure from a covering defender, outside of the right foot steered past the onrushing keeper and into the bottom right corner. Away fans into delirium behind the goal, Simon Lane celebrating on the pitch every player sprinting towards the young goalscorer. Ft 2-2

Mom George Sippetts gave us some pace up front had the nerve to score, when easy to snatch at a chance late on.
Herson Alves played well back 3 solid enough for large parts.

Wranyel limping off after 15mins hopefully nothing too serious.
Jordan Ibe his replacement was ok, had plenty of the ball second half but lacked any real quality in final pass or cross. Fitness maybe still an issue but seems off the pace so far.

Never gave up and kept on till the end, gained a deserved point against an inform Uxbridge side. Showing signs of more consistency so fingers crossed we can build on this Saturday at Ascot.
