A win and a rise out of the bottom four!

Omar seemed to give us that extra spark, Dunne seemed to play the ball forwards much more that against Plymouth P, ultimately Hayes took their chances and Bracknell didn't. For the first 80 minutes anyway. After that we saw what can happen if one side has nothing to lose and commits to attack.

I'm not one to often moan about referees but there were some mighty odd decisions made out there last night.

Car park was full at 7.30pm with a crowd of 189. I'm not sure if that was a temporary arrangement or if we've just rented out so much of it now that this is inevitable. It's not so bad mid-week as the yellow lines aren't restricted then but I think they are on Saturdays.

Well done to the players and management, let's build on that against Hungerford on Saturday!

Take any win at present Mr H. First half performance was much the same as previous games scoring with our only shot in the half. Bracknell didn’t really create to much either. The only thing we struggled with was the cross field ball from there left back to right winger. Ngunga or Rowe not the answer if wing backs are used. Missed kinsella as the natural left full back.

Maybe us being in front caused Bracknell to come forward a little more in the second half, we managed to break through midfield several times with Dunne passing forward instead of sideways. The pace of Ayo, Fernandes and Tobias late into the game gave us an outlet. Watching the Bracknell penalty back looks extremely soft, from that point we got a bit nervous and then the second went in, thought we were going to throw a 3 goal lead away. Held on doggedly for the win.

Cole Brown MoM for me thought he dealt with the tricky young winner for most of the game. Ronan big plus, if he can stay fit for the remainder of the season his goals and work rate are crucial for us.

Need another performance Saturday get on the front foot again like the second half Tuesday night, start testing these visiting sides defensively. Picking up home wins is vital for the remainder of the season. Won’t be easy game constant barrage of long throws from Hungerford in the away tie.
