Do you want him back?

He has taken us from a competent National League South side to bottom of the league, with only one very lucky win and only 5 league goals scored.

Hoping the Weymouth board get a sudden rush of common sense and sack him, before he gets another relegation on his CV.

Thanks for the offer BLS1890, but unfortunately I couldn’t watch the most negative football I’ve seen in 5 years maybe more if I’m honest.

Numerous games where we only managed 1/2 shots at goal. Negative at home, constant passing backwards or sideways, hoping or praying to take the lead and defend from that point onward.
I’ve read the Terras forum and it’s carbon copy of what we witnessed for large parts of his tenure. He bailed out on us which pissed everyone off bearing in mind he played for Hayes for many years. I for one would never want to see him in and around our club again after his actions. I’m in no doubt that we would have been relegated with him in charge, and him going gave us a squeak with the new manager coming in.
Weymouth a bigger club and higher division but to leave the way he did was sticking two fingers up to the board and especially the fans that supported him through some shocking results. After every away game he came over clapping the fans and saying stick with us we, need time and getting players in to help same shit for months.
Players found his tactics or game plans to complicated as they were only part time was the rumour around the ground.

Thing that annoyed me most was the fact that the job was never made public knowledge and he just managed to get the job through friend or family connections.

Spoke to Aldershot fans and Gosport fans about him and they all said the same. Defensive negative and worse football that had seen.

Good luck for the season but with MM ( The Snake) in charge don’t think it will be great watch and the results so far from tail end of last season and this looks like relegation form.

Ps if u ever need an extra shovel to bury him on Weymouth beach count me in :D

Molesley is essentially a manager who wants to believe he has an elite coaching method which makes players better.

In reality he is an expert in over-complicating the simplest of tasks, demanding an unrealistic level from part-time players and has almost become a parody of himself since a promising start at Weymouth a few years ago.

Weymouth are very much welcome to him.

Sadly I am not surprised to hear those views.

He got the job at Weymouth by the back door after we let a very good manager go. The vacancy was never advertised, and Molesley was just parachuted in.

Given his record, it was obviously going to be a disastrous appointment and the Weymouth board are being too stubborn and blind to see that the only way we can save ourselves from relegation is to get rid now.

I cannot fathom how these jokers keep getting offered jobs by gullible clubs.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

It's a shame really.

Mark came through the Hayes FEDO youth setup, played some great games in the first team then went on to bigger and better things. All you could ask for really, very much "one of our own".

Then he's back as manager and despite a patchy record in that role I was excited to see him back and thought it was a good move.

Of course, it all went horribly wrong, not just the results but the manner of Mark's departure when we needed commitment from everyone at the club. So much goodwill destroyed so quickly.

I suppose Mark thought he may not be at H&Y the following season and the Weymouth opportunity was "now or never" so he took it. Still, it didn't boost his reputation, who knows we may have kept him on even if we were relegated, we did with Paul Hughes.

I wonder if Mark looks back and regrets some of his decisions and their impact on our club.

Am I reading this right?

Asking for MM back?

Seriously, a waste of a post. Last year was bad. This year is bad. Need someone who can play progressive football and build the club.

Just to clarify, no, most certainly NOT asking for MM back! :o

At the time he returned last season I thought it a good chance to turn around our season, but, well, it it did turn it wasn't in the right direction.
