Progress in Season 2026/27

Post by theAdmin »

One of the club's aims this season is to have more league points than we did at the comparable stage of last season.

So, let's see how we're doing...

Ha, well only two games in and we didn't get any points in games 3 and 4 last season so there's a good chance we'll be ahead of last year soon!

With the number of games played by each team so different in the league at the moment it's difficult to tell how we're doing. Also, have we been playing the stronger or weaker teams so far?

Here's a look at the league based on points per game and also showing where we've won our points.

Still early days and having only played 6 games a couple of wins can quickly jump us up the table.

Thanks for sharing the stats Mr Heinstein.

As you say, the league campaign has been a bit sporadic due to the bizarre cup format this season. Feels like we've played a lot more games than we actually have. A run of wins will soon see us shooting up the table. Lots of games in hand.

Two clean sheets in a row now but, the trade off is, we haven't scored in two either. Great to see Gianni Chrichlow back on Saturday. Looked really good to me before he got injured.

We do need to start getting wins on the board soon though. Bognor are already opening up a pretty commanding points total at the top and we need to make sure they don't disappear over the hill, even at this early stage.
